HODGES, Justice.

This is an application to assume original jurisdiction and for writs of prohibition and mandamus against the respondent district judge to prevent further proceedings.

The petitioners, Safeway Stores Incorporated (Safeway) and Richard Herridge (Herridge) were named as defendants in an action which was filed by Elsie and Or-vel Brown (Browns) in the District Court of Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.
