The above-named claimant filed a claim against the state of New York alleging that she had sustained permanent damages by the destruction of two wells on her property in the town of Kingsbury, Washington county. The claimant originally owned a large tract of land consisting of a farm and by proper proceedings the greater portion of it was appropriated by the state for the improvement of the Champlain canal.
