THYNGE, United States Magistrate Judge.

Plaintiff, Orrin T. Skretvedt brought this claim pursuant to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (“ERISA”), 29 U.S.C. § 1001 et seq., in an attempt to recover long term disability benefits allegedly due him under defendants’ disability plans. Before this court are plaintiffs motion to amend complaint and cross-motions for summary judgment.
