This lawsuit was filed by Natasha Walker, a female employee of defendant Piggly Wiggly. 1 Walker brought this action against Piggly Wiggly and her supervisor, defendant Derrick Bradley, under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), 42 U.S.C.A. § 13981, as well as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, 42 U.S.C.A. §§ 1981a, 2000e through 2000e-17.
