This is an appeal from a decision of the Court of Common Pleas of Washington County refusing a motion for a new trial. The action was begun on June 10, 1971 when a Declaration of Taking was filed by the Redevelopment Authority of Washington County (Authority) pursuant to §402 of the Eminent Domain Code, Act of June 22, 1964, Special Sess., P. L. 84, as amended, 26 P.S. §1-402, taking a two-story brick church building owned by the Faith United Presbyterian Church (Church).
