In this case we again face the problem of choosing which statutory limitation period should appropriately be applied to determine whether laches bars a particular admiralty action. 1 The appellants' — Louis and Adorina Barrois and Andrew and Doha Billiot — filed a claim on December 2, 1975, for injuries they allegedly sustained on December 2, 1972, when their pleasure craft collided with defendant’s tug M/V Nelda Faye.
