The plaintiff, Kevin Etienne (“Etienne”), brought this action against Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (“Wal-Mart”) seeking damages and other relief for alleged discrimination on the basis of his race in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (“Title VII”), 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq. Etienne also pleaded causes of action under Connecticut common law for constructive discharge; intentional infliction of emotional distress; negligent infliction of emotional distress; and false imprisonment.…
