Marichu De Sesto served as a nanny and housekeeper to Elyse Slaine for - almost fourteen years, ending in 2014. De Sesto brought this suit against Slaine for unpaid overtime wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”), 29 U.S.C. § 201 et seq., and New York Labor Law (“NYLL”); unpaid wages and failure to provide paystubs under NYLL; and breach of contract.
