Mrs. Rose L. Gulley instituted this action by notice of motion to recover compensation for personal injuries and damages arising from a collision between an automobile being operated by her agent, and another being operated by an agent of the defendant, the Yellow Cab Company of Virginia, Inc. The defendant filed a plea of the general *614issue, a plea alleging the contributory negligence of the plaintiff, and a cross-claim for damages.
