STOKES, Justice.

On the 1st day of December, 1923, ap-pellee Nelson W. Willard sold and conveyed to Mrs. R. E. Whitaker 160 acres of land in Terry county for which she paid him a small amount in cash and executed seven vendor’s lien notes in the sum of $338 each, due and payable on December 1st of the years 1924 to 1930, inclusive, bearing interest at the rate of 6 per cent, per annum, payable annhally.
