This is an action of tort for the alleged malicious prosecution of the plaintiff by the defendant on a charge of operating a motor vehicle on a public way after the suspension of his license and right to operate motor vehicles and before the restoration of such license and right. G. L. c. 90, § 10, as amended through St. 1963, c. 713, § 1. After trial in the Superior Court a jury returned a verdict for the plaintiff for $1,800.
