This is an appeal from a judgment of the district court of Woodward county in favor of the defendant in error, the plaintiff in the trial court, and against the plaintiff in error, the defendant in the trial court, for an amount found to be due on a teacher’s contract between the plaintiff and the school district. The parties will be referred to as they appeared in the trial court.

Tlie school district made an estimate for the fiscal year 1929-1930, which included an item of $800 for teacher’s salary. That estimate was not presented to the excise board for its approval, but a new estimate…
