Appellant, Sabina Evelyn Acquah (Acquah), was indicted on two criminal conspiracy counts. One count charged Acquah with conspiracy 1 to bribe state employees under Md. Ann.Code art. 27, § 22 2 (hereinafter referred to as “the bribery count”).
