Defendant has appealed from a judgment which became final after plaintiff,- in conformance with the trial court’s order on defendant’s motion for new trial, accepted a reduction to $280,000 from a jury verdict which awarded her $362,389.75 damages for injuries suffered as a result of an automobile collision.
