This matter comes before the Court upon Plaintiff Carolyn Ebert’s (“Plaintiff’) appeal from Reliance Standard Life Insurance ■ Company’s (“Defendant”) denial of her claim for long-term disability benefits under an employee benefit plan (“Plan”) governed by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”), 29 U.S.C. § § 1001, et seq. (Doc. # 12), and upon Defendant’s Motion for Summary Judgment. (Doc.# 13). The Court exercises jurisdiction over this action pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1331.
