Plaintiff Chan Young Bak brings this wrongful death and negligence action on behalf of his mother Hyang Ja Bak Lee’s (“decedent”) estate. The decedent fell 20 feet from a platform at the Bridgeport Train Station and died two hours later. There are six defendants in the case. Three of the defendants are public entities: the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (“MTA”); Metro-North Railroad Company (“Metro-North”); and the National Railroad Passenger Corporation (“Amtrak”).
