—In an action to recover damages for medical malpractice, the plaintiff appeals from (1) an order of the Supreme Court, Rockland County (Sherwood, J.), entered July 15, 1996, which granted the motion by the defendants Martin H. Savitz and Rockland Neurological Practices, P.
