BISHOP, Judge.

Michael James Jackson, the appellant, brings this consolidated appeal following his convictions in the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County in two separate cases. In the first case, a jury convicted appellant of a first degree sexual offense, a second degree sexual offense, burglary, and assault with intent to rape. The court merged the conviction for the second degree sexual offense into the conviction for the first degree sexual offense and sentenced appellant to life imprisonment.
