Following a stipulated bench trial conducted in the circuit court of Macon County, defendant Bruce Lee McIntyre was found guilty of violating his bail bond on or about August 2, 1990. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1989, ch. 38, par. 32 — 10.) Defendant had been admitted to bail on May 10, 1990, while charged with residential burglary (Macon County Case No. 90 — CF—326). He forfeited his bond by failing to appear in court on July 2, 1990, at 9:30 a.m. and he wilfully failed to surrender himself within 30 days thereafter. For the bail bond violation, he was sentenced to a term of imprisonment of three years…
