S. Parker & Son, and J. L. Beeler, owners of the steamboat “Antelope,” executed two deeds of trust on the boat to secure two bills of exchange drawn by the owners, and accepted by Brown., the captain of the boat, in favor of the appellees. /

The appellees filed their petition in the Louisville chancery court, against the steamboat “Antelope” and owners, and the other parties to the bills of exchange, and deeds of trust, alleging that their debts were unpaid ; that the defendants were all non-residents of Kentucky ; that the “Antelope” was then…
