The plaintiff, Stanley Peters, was struck by a taxi at *768Logan Airport, incurring a serious injury as a result. He commenced an action in the Superior Court against Frantz Fenelus, the driver of the taxi,2 and Haymarket Leasing, Inc. (Haymarket), a corporation that had leased the taxi in question to Fenelus.
