Suit by Tanson Chandler, against his wife, Mary, for a divorce.
Publication was duly made against the wife, as a nonresident.
When the cause was called, the plaintiff proved publication, and asked to have a default taken against the defendant, but it was not allowed.
He then asked leave to prove the allegations in his complaint; but it was refused.
The prosecuting attorney appeared to resist the divorce. The Court, of its own motion, appointed Walter March, Esq., to assist him.
