Plaintiff, Roger Ficken, appeals from the judgment of the circuit court of Madison County entered after the jury returned a general verdict in favor of defendant, Alton & Southern Railroad Company, in this action brought under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act (FELA) (45 U.S.C.A. §51 et seq. (1986)).
