The question for our decision in this case is probably of but little importance, either to the parties themselves or to' the public. Such a question has never before arisen in Connecticut, for the reason, undoubtedly, that no individual tax-payer in a school district has considered his pecuniary interest in the school-house as sufficiently affected by the practice, which to some extent is said to prevail, of holding religious meetings in school-houses, to induce him tt> institute proceedings to prevent it.
