Plaintiffs allege that beginning in February 2002 defendants unlawfully transmitted to plaintiffs’ fax machine 26 unsolicited advertisements promoting various events without plaintiffs’ consent. Notice of Removal, Ex. N, Amended Complaint ¶¶ 14-17. In May 2002, plaintiffs sent a letter through counsel objecting to the transmissions, to no avail. See id. ¶ 19.
