The plaintiff in this suit, Mrs. Lou Hau-tot Goudeau, was injured on June 26, 1938 when she slipped and fell on a board walk or platform on the edge of a swimming pool in the City of Crowley, while she was on her way to an adjoining dressing room. The swimming pool is owned and operated by the City of Crowley and, at the time of Mrs. Goudeau’s injury, was insured against public liability by the Indemnity Insurance Company of North America, the defendant herein.
