Now before the Court is the government’s motion to continue the involuntary medication of defendant with anti-psychotic drugs to restore his mental competence sufficiently to enable him to assist with his defense. A four-month period of such forced medication was authorized by the Court on April 30, 2012, United States v. Decoteau, 857 F.Supp.2d 295 (E.D.N.Y.2012) (‘Decoteau I”); the authority expired on September 15, 2012 (see Order, July 31, 2012).
