PERRY, Chief Judge.

Reynaldo Reyna appeals from his judgment of conviction for possession of methamphetamine, challenging the denial of his motion to suppress. For the reasons set forth below, we affirm.

FACTS AND PROCEDURE

At approximately 2:00 a.m. an officer responding to an investigative call followed a pickup to a residence, pulling in behind the pickup in the driveway. The police contacted the driver, who was identified as Reynaldo Reyna. After briefly questioning Reyna, the investigating officer told Reyna that he was free to go.
