Spec. Ref. Plaintiffs seek to recover the sum of $2,000 for the alleged fraud, conversion and willful and malicious injury to their property by defendant.

Plaintiffs, manufacturers of ladies underwear, engaged defendant as an independent contractor to manufacture their merchandise. Pursuant to an oral contract between the parties, plaintiffs furnished raw materials and invoiced them to defendant at a given price.
