The deed, executed on January 22, 1889, by Mary McClelland, the owner of the fifty-two acres of land, and her husband, Mason McClelland, to the plaintiff in error, their son, was a warranty deed, conveying the fifty-two acres in question, and reciting upon its face that the consideration of making" the same was the sum of §2500.00.
