Affirming.

On January 1, 1905, A. J. Asher executed and delivered to W. J. Hodges two promissory notes; one for $980.69, and the other for $1,400.72, each payable “on demand after date.”

On April 16, 3 927, the First State Bank of Pineville, as administrator of Hodges, brought this suit against Asher to recover on the notes. Asher filed an answer in two paragraphs, pleading, in substance, that each of the notes was barred by the 15-year statute of limitations.
