This seventeen-defendant, two-count superseding indictment charges all defendants in Count One with conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute cathinone, a Schedule I controlled substance contained in the khat plant, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846; thirteen of the seventeen defendants are also charged in Count Two with conspiracy to commit money laundering, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1956(h).
