LISS, Judge.

The fundamental issues in this case are whether certain documents should have been admitted to probate by the Superior Court for Baltimore City (now the Circuit Court for Baltimore City) and how the documents should have been construed. As we consider these issues, we shall also review a number of subsidiary issues, as well as a motion to dismiss one of the two appeals involved. Before explaining why we affirm the judgment below, we shall sketch the relevant facts and the major contentions of the parties.
