Based on libels published in issues of Hustler magazine and circulated throughout the United States, a New York plaintiff has obtained an award of damages in the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire against both a publishing corporation, whose principal place of business was Ohio at the time of the publication and is now California, and the magazine’s publisher, whose residence has followed the corporation.
