— For convenience respondent will be referred to as plaintiff and appellants 'as defendants.

This is an action in two counts instituted in the Newton County Circuit Court, wherein plaintiff seeks to recover of defendants the sum of $705.10, for labor performed in repairing the roads within the jurisdiction of the defendant special road district No. One.
