After a trial without a jury in the criminal court of Cook county Joseph Semenick was adjudged guilty of larceny of an automobile and sentenced to imprisonment for from one to twenty years. The case comes here for review by writ of error, the sole question being whether the defendant’s guilt, which rested entirely upon the unsupported testimony of two confessed thieves, was sufficient to warrant his conviction.
