John P. Looney prosecutes this writ of error to review the judgment of the circuit court of Knox county by which he was convicted of murder and sentenced to imprisonment in the penitentiary for fourteen years.
The indictment was returned at the May term, 1925, of the circuit court of Rock Island county and charged the plaintiff in error jointly with Lawrence Pedigo, Joe Richards, Leonard Walker, Emeal Davis, Heine Lee, Helen VanDale, Louis Ortell and Henry Auerochs with the murder of William Gabel.
