THE COURT.

Charles Yale died in the county of Los Angeles on September 6, 1927, at the age of eighty-one and leaving an estate of approximately $200,000. Two days later William E. Briggs, as the executor named therein, filed with the county clerk documents purporting to be the will of the decedent, dated August 21, 1927, and a codicil thereto dated September 3, 1927. On September 27, 1927, an order was made admitting the will and codicil to probate and letters testamentary were thereupon issued.
