Plaintiff in her complaint alleges that in'1884,"in consideration of the plaintiff’s supporting, maintaining, .furnishing a-home for and educating a child of the defendant during its minority, the defendant agreed to pay the plaintiff the sum of $30 dollars per month during the plaintiff’s lifetime; that plaintiff performed her part of such contract; that defendant paid such sum for a number of years, has omitted to pay $5,810 due on such contract; and plaintiff demands judgment for the same.
