This appeal arises from a jury verdict awarding Malati Nagaragadde $215,030.67 in damages on a negligence claim against *243her son-in-law, Raghu Pandurangi.1 Ra-ghu contends the trial court erred in entering judgment on the verdict because Malati failed to prove an element of her negligence claim. For reasons explained herein, we affirm.
Factual and PROCEDURAL History
