— This is an appeal from a judgment and sentence for grand larceny, upon a verdict of guilty by a jury.
At the outset, we wish to state that we have experienced some difficulty with the record because of the many changes of attorneys. The defendant was originally represented by John Wesley Dolby. Dolby was discharged by the defendant, and J. Edmond Quigley represented him during the trial. After the verdict, Mr. Quigley was discharged and the defendant employed Paul M. Stocker and Stanley L. Conroy, who argued a motion for new trial, and prepared the brief on appeal. They were later…
