The plaintiffs, Stusser and wife, seek recovery from the defendant insurance company upon a so-called “surety bond”, which, however, seems to be more in the nature of an insurance policy executed by the insurance company for the benefit of persons who might be damaged as the result of the operation by Louis C. Smith of a passenger-for-hire motor propelled vehicle upon the public highways of this state.
