Abood, Judge.
This case is before this court for consideration of the substantive issues raised in the petition for a writ of habeas corpus filed by petitioner George C. Zilba on April 1,1996.
The facts that are relevant to the issues before this court are as follows. On February 8,1996, petitioner appeared before the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas and entered a plea of no contest to charges of felonious assault and failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer -with a physical harm specification.
