The history of prior litigation concerning the real estate involved in this action was reviewed upon the occasion of the last preceding appearance in this court. Spelke v. Shaw, 114 Conn. 272, 158 Atl. 809. See also McLoughlin v. Shaw, 95 Conn. 102, 111 Atl. 62; Shaw v. Spelke, 110 Conn. 208, 147 Atl. 675. On the former appeal in the present action (Spelke v.
