STATEMENT OF THE CASE
In this appeal, we are asked to determine the applicability of the Real Estate Broker and Salesperson Licensing Act, Indiana Code Section 25-34.1 et seq., (the "Licensing Act") to the sale of business assets that include an interest in real estate. GDC Environmental Services, Inc. ("GDC") brings an interlocutory appeal from the trial court's entry of summary judgment in favor of Ransbottom Landfill, Ransbottom Excavating, Inc., Ransbottom Roll Off Services, Inc., Dan Ransbottom and David Ransbottom (collectively the "Ransbottoms").
