STATEMENT BY THE COURT.
The appeals in both of these cases involve the validity of a contract of the State Textbook Commission with the American Book Company for the adoption of Overton's Textbooks on Physiology and Hygiene for use in the public schools for a term of six years from September 1, 1925.
No. 9598 is an appeal by A. B. Hill, as Superintendent of Public Instruction, from a judgment in a mandamus case against him in the Pulaski Circuit Court by the American Book Company, to compel him to sign the contract claimed to have been made by the said book company with the said textbook…
