Defendant, who has been charged with first-degree murder and related offenses, has filed an omnibus pre-trial motion seeking, inter alia, the appointment of Bernard J. Brown, Esquire, as his counsel and Seidel Investigation & Consulting as a private investigator.1 (Defendant’s *315Omnibus Pre-Trial Motion at ¶¶6-7).
