OPINION

GREER, Judge.

This appeal stems from the trial court’s grant of summary judgment for the defendant, a television and movie celebrity, against plaintiffs, buyers of certain real estate.

The relevant facts began in 1971, when Cesar Romero, a Hollywood personality, contracted with Consolidated Mortgage Company (Consolidated) to assist in promoting Consolidated’s Arizona real estate venture, Chino Valley Estates.
