The steel company was a self-insuring employer, under the Workmen’s Compensation Act (Section 1465-37 et seq., General Code). The furnace company employed the steel company, as an independent contractor, to furnish the necessary labor and materials therefor, and to construct a piece of work for the furnace company, upon the property of the furnace company.
