Plaintiff brought this action in the circuit court of Emmet county to recover damages for injuries sustained while employed in defendant’s tannery through his hand being caught and crushed in a wringer machine used to press liquid out of soaked hides. The case comes *114before this court on a writ of error sued out by defendant upon a verdict and judgment in plaintiff’s favor.

He charges defendant with liability for the injury by reason of alleged negligence in failure to properly instruct as to safe methods and warn of dangers attending the work in which he was engaged; also with failure to…
